Job Description
Allied Reliability is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to support lime and stone production.
Basic requirements:
High School Graduate or GED equivalency
Minimum 2 years and 4000 hours of on the job electrical maintenance training
Must take and receive overall qualification report results on a Ramsay Journeyman Electrician exam.
- Demonstrated competency in preventative predictive and computerized electrical maintenance management systems
- Inspection and identification and knowledge of all electrical distribution systems 12 to 5K volts)
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot repair and maintain electrical systems including electric motors electric controls and scales.
- Test & monitor electrical systems equipment and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Monitors work done for adherence to the NEC requirements.
- Maintains appropriate service and repair records (records necessary for MSHA).
- Follows blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to conform to the building and safety codes.
- Analyze and responds safely and appropriately to routine and emergency calls for repairs and service
