Job Overview
We are hiring an Electrician to join our team at Podar Education Network. As an Electrician you will be responsible for installing maintaining and repairing electrical wiring equipment and fixtures in our educational institutions. You will ensure that electrical systems are functioning correctly and safely.
Qualifications and Skills
- Junior level experience of 1 to 3 years as an Electrician
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting electrical diagrams
- Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to work safely with electrical systems
- Experience in operating power tools and conducting circuit testing
- Familiarity with code compliance and ensuring electrical installations meet the necessary standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Proactive approach to maintaining and repairing electrical systems
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance practices
Roles and Responsibilities
- Install maintain and repair electrical systems in our educational institutions
- Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers for any defects or malfunctions
- Perform electrical troubleshooting to identify issues and implement necessary solutions
- Replace or repair faulty electrical wiring switches outlets and fixtures
- Ensure that all electrical work meets the necessary safety codes and regulations
- Collaborate with other team members and staff to address electrical issues or fulfill maintenance requests
- Keep accurate records of electrical repairs maintenance and installations
- Follow proper procedures for handling electrical tools equipment and materials
- Stay updated with the latest electrical codes regulations and industry trends
