Solar PV Electrician Domestic Residential (Reading & Surrounding Areas)
Salary:per annum (depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent (Full-time or Part-time)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday

The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for an experienced electrician to focus on private residential solar PV and battery storage projects. You will be part of a growing team committed to delivering safe compliant and high-standard installations at customer homes across the region.
Key Responsibilities

Install and commission solar PV and battery storage systems at private residences

Ensure full compliance with current wiring regulations and industry best practices

Deliver excellent customer service on site offering clear communication and reassurance

Work efficiently with colleagues to complete projects on time and to a high standard

Complete all required installation records and documentation

Stay updated on solar technology and industry developments through training
Candidate Requirements

18th Edition (or equivalent) certified electrician
-
Minimum 1 year of solar PV and battery storage installation experience

Full UK driving licence
-
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Professional attitude with strong communication skills
Desirable
-
Level 3 Electrical Inspection & Testing qualification

Solar PV installation accreditation (e.g. MCS)

Experience with major solar and battery brands

Understanding of battery storage and energy management systems
