Job Description
Job Title Senior Test Engineer SC Cleared or SC Eligible
Location Yorkshire and the Humber( Leeds) (2 to 3 days)
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside team members including Product Owner Scrum Master Technical Architect Developers and DevOps.
- Lead test engineers across several teams providing technical leadership and guidance.
- Lead the traceability of testing risks defects and report progress to appropriate stakeholders across several teams.
Key Skills/Knowledge:
- Develop and maintain UI & API test frameworks.
- Selenium Automation Testing (Java and Maven) and NFT (K6/JMeter).
- Perform API testing (Manual via Postman/Insomnia & Automated via Java Rest Assured).
- Utilize JavaScriptbased automation tools (Cypress/Playwright).
- Contribute to Docker & CI/CD pipeline integration.
Experience Required:
- Handson with BDD/TDD frameworks (Cucumber TestNG modulebased).
- Expertise in Selenium integration with Jenkins/GitLab.
- Experience in Agile methodology & Accessibility Testing (WCAG axe/wave/arc).
Special Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work in a hybrid setting and collaborate with other team members.
Additional Remarks:
- Undertake client interview & technical assessment.
- Be SC Cleared or be eligible for SC Clearance.
- Must have worked continuously in the UK for more than 5 years.
Person Specification:
- Strong communication & collaboration skills.
- Ability to work with Subject Matter Experts to ensure quality outcomes.
- Experience in transition knowledge transfer and documentation best practices.
