Job Description
At AECOM the Resources Industry (RI) business line offers services that span the entire project life cycle. From concept to detailed design engineering and project management for execution and commissioning phases as well as decommissioning and closure of existing operations.
Our broad global and collaborative approach assists the industry as it faces new challenges in greenfield and brownfield mining and minerals processing and we are supporting our clients on their journey to achieving net zero emissions.
In our Queensland offices (Brisbane Mackay and South Townsville) we are looking for Mechanical Engineering professionals who prefer contracting opportunities either on a casual or medium to longterm basis.
We are looking for technical experts confident to bring your skills and experience to a world renowned Tier 1 Engineering Consultancy.
Led by collaborative leaders you will be working with world leading technical experts who are passionate and creative and proud to be part of a company that is dedicated to delivering a better world.

What are we looking for from you
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with experience for a consultancy or an operating mining processing facility
- Experience in the design and specification of mining plant infrastructure materials handling and fluids handling systems and equipment
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills
- Experience in delivering successful project outcomes from initiation to execution demonstrating commercial acumen throughout
