The Investment Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing complex financial analyses valuations and investment strategies that align with the organizations longterm goals. As a key member of the Treasury and Investments team the role demands minimal supervision and entails making significant contributions to highlevel decisionmaking through strategic insights and advanced financial modeling. The Investment Manager also mentors the team ensuring quality and consistency in deliverables across different business units.
Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders ensuring timeliness accuracy thoroughness and strategic relevance.
- Conduct advanced financial analysis for assigned business units identifying trends and actionable insights that support strategic decisionmaking.
- Present findings to senior management (e.g. BOD EXCOM MANCOM) with clear recommendations that align with organizational goals.
Valuation and Investment Analysis
- Develop complex financial models and perform indepth valuations for largescale expansions M&A projects and strategic initiatives.
- Lead the preparation of investment analyses and recommendations delivering insights that guide highlevel business decisions.
- Conduct comprehensive postmortem analyses and lookbacks to evaluate the success of investment projects identifying areas for improvement.
Capital Budgeting and Strategic Planning
- Lead the preparation and continuous updating of the 10Year Warchest aligning capital allocation with longterm organizational strategy.
- Collaborate with Country Teams and business leaders to validate forecasts and ensure cohesive planning across divisions.
- Advise on capital allocation decisions balancing risk and return to optimize portfolio performance.
Others Tasks/Analysis
- Provide research support for Treasury and Risk & Commodity teams particularly in data collection and analysis of key economic indicators.
- Assist in scenario planning and financial analyses to support tactical and strategic initiatives across business units.
- Maintain organized records of financial data and analysis for reference and audit purposes.
- Undertake additional tasks and analyses as directed by the VP Treasury and Investments or AVP Finance Investments.
Leadership and Mentorship
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the Investment Supervisor and Investment Specialist fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Ensure alignment of deliverables across the team maintaining high standards of quality and consistency in financial analyses and reports.
- Promote skill development within the team preparing them for more advanced responsibilities.
CrossFunctional Collaboration
- Partner with executives and crossfunctional teams (e.g. Business Development Corporate Strategy Treasury) to align financial insights with strategic initiatives.
- Serve as a key resource for senior stakeholders providing expert financial advice and analysis for highimpact decisions.
- Actively contribute to discussions on organizational strategy leveraging datadriven insights to shape longterm goals.
Qualifications :
Education:
- A graduate of any of the following degree: Business Accounting Finance Mathematics or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong preference for MBA graduates
Experience:
- At least seven (7) years of experience in investment banking transaction advisory or deal advisory roles with a toptier bank or Big Four with significant involvement in M&A transactions due diligence and capital raising.
- Proven ability to lead and execute complex financial analyses valuations and strategic initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to handle highpressure fastpaced environments with flexibility and efficiency.
- Exceptional analytical financial modeling and valuation skills with the capacity to deliver strategic insights to senior management.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with experience presenting to senior stakeholders and boards.
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence work ethic and independent decisionmaking.
- Willingness to travel and collaborate with colleagues across domestic and international operating sites.
- A selfstarter continuous learner and independent thinker who can work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams to achieve results.
