The Host serves as a liaison between the dining room staff and the kitchen ensuring efficient communication and coordination to provide exceptional service to guests at our Private Members Club. Additionally they may handle reservations manage seating arrangements and address any guest concerns or special requests.
Salary: 1485 per hour including Tronc.

Gallery opening hours are 106 excluding Fridays that will be 109.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests as they arrive providing a warm welcome and assisting with seating arrangements.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the restaurants layout table availability and seating capacity.
- Manage reservations including recording bookings updating availability and confirming reservations as needed.
- Monitor dining room activity to anticipate guest needs and ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Handle guest inquiries requests and complaints promptly and professionally striving to resolve issues to the guests satisfaction.
- Train and supervise hosting and serving staff providing guidance on service standards etiquette and guest interaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the frontofhouse area including the reception area dining room and restrooms.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for enhancing the guest experience and maximizing revenue.
- Uphold high standards of professionalism hospitality and guest service at all times.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience within the hospitality industry preferably in fine dining or upscale restaurants.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests staff and management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fastpaced environment.
- Proficiency in reservation management software and basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures including wine service and menu presentation.
- A professional demeanor and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
