WHAT IS THE JOB
As an Inventory/Inbound Associate in our Atlanta Distribution Center youll be responsible for processing and putting away merchandise picking and packing merchandise for the stores conducting StoretoStore transfers and helping with cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. You will be helping fuel the entire enterprise by making sure merchandise is handled efficiently and with attention to detail with an emphasis on operational rigor and inventory excellence. This is an hourly nonexempt position.
WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process units based on channel receiving stocking cycle counting picking and packing
- Retag Wholesale units when necessary
- Dexterity with handheld scanners
- General understanding of computers email and shipping software
- Giftwrapping during peak seasons
- Supplies organization and putaway
WHAT ARE THE ESSENTIALS
- Attention to detail in all things
- Wellabove average on accuracy and efficiency
- Ability to switch between tasks quickly eagerness to learn
- Able to lift packages of 20 pounds or more consistently and work on ones feet all day
- Comfortable in a fastpaced environment ability to bounce back from interruptions
- Comfortable working alone or with the team
- Organization and cleanliness
- Recognition of own strengths and weaknesses and courage to ask for help when needed
- Motivated resourceful problem solver and team player with a no task is too small attitude
