Role: Data Center Network Engineer
Location: Houston TX Onsite role ( 5 Days)
Duration: Long term contract W2
Job Summary
We are seeking an engineer with extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Datacenter Network migration with Juniper and Arista Technologies
Years of experience needed 8 years of experience in Data Centre Network Eng.
Technical Skills:
- Oversee and execute data center network migrations from Arista to Juniper-based solutions.
- Create detailed cable sheets design documents and migration plans.
- Schedule and coordinate migration windows and activities with relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and implement scripts for network automation during the migration process.
- Implement and optimize Juniper networks according to best practices and business needs.
- Leverage Juniper Apstra for intent-based networking automation and validation of the new infrastructure.
- Configure Juniper QFX 5130 and 5120 series switching platforms.
- Configure and troubleshoot advanced routing and switching technologies including L2 VPN EVPN MPLS and L3 VPN.
- Demonstrate deep expertise in routing protocols like BGP and OSPF Route maps route filters.
- Proficiently manage IPv4 and IPv6 addressing schemes IP traffic management and network infrastructure design.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation including network diagrams configurations and migration procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including server storage and application teams to ensure successful migrations.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide support during and after migration windows
