TALENT DEVELOPMENT & ENGAGEMENT SPECIALIST
Job Summary:
The Talent Development & Engagement Specialist plays a pivotal role in proactively shaping the growth and success of KMS employees by leading strategic learning initiatives and supporting overall employee experience efforts. This role is responsible not only for designing and delivering engaging training programs but also for identifying opportunities to develop new learning pathways that empower team members to reach their full potential. In addition to training this role will flex to support broader Employee Experience initiatives such as events onboarding and engagement efforts. A keen attention to detail forwardthinking mindset and strong communication skills are essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Learning & Development
- Proactively identify current and future training needs across the organization through data analysis feedback and strategic workforce planning
- Develop implement and manage scalable training programs for both office and field employees with a focus on soft skills leadership and performance improvement
- Build innovative and engaging learning experiences using a variety of methods including inperson sessions elearning microlearnings and interactive content
- Maintain a wellorganized easytonavigate digital learning library that includes internally and externally developed resources
- Collaborate with leaders to align learning strategies with company goals and performance metrics
- Evaluate program effectiveness through measurable outcomes and continuously optimize content based on results and feedback
- Serve as a resource and coach for leaders and team members to maximize the impact of training efforts
CrossFunctional Support for Employee Experience
- Partner with the Employee Experience team to assist in planning and executing company events employee appreciation efforts and culturedriven programs
- Support onboarding programs by developing consistent engaging experiences for new hires
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with the communications/media team to effectively promote training initiatives and employee experience events
- Maintain clear professional and proactive communication with stakeholders at all levels
- Exhibit strong attention to detail in written content scheduling resource planning and followup
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in designing and facilitating training programs
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop scalable learning opportunities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across departments
- Experience with instructional design adult learning principles or learning management systems preferred
