This position is ideal for recent college graduates or those early in their IT careers who are ready to build realworld skills gain exposure to enterpriselevel systems and work alongside experienced professionals in network administration systems support and cybersecurity. - Provide courteous responsive service to the Companys employees
- Troubleshoot network related problems and recommend or perform remedial actions to correct failed services
- Perform upgrades of hardware and software as needed on end user workstations and laptops;
- Assist the Network Manager System Admin and Chief Technology Officer with larger scale projects as needed
- Properly stripping and disposing of old hardware in a manner deemed compliant by the Chief Technology Officer
- Keep inventory of network equipment up to date
- Perform minor wiring of connections
- Respond to user inquiries concerning systems operation and access problems. Diagnose system hardware software and operator problems and help users by instructing them about proper usage;
- Aid in performing upgrades and updates of the network software and hardware
- Support Companywide Telephone System
- Informing the Company immediately of any and all events incidents occurrences complaints lawsuits investigations findings or good faith concerns of illegal improper or unethical or other material information or matters concerning the Company and/or the Employee
- Devoting his/her productive time ability and attention to the business of the Company and give his/her best efforts and skills exclusively to the business and interest of the Company during the term of his/her employment with the Company
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
This is a hybrid position based out of the Melville office with a regular schedule of three days inoffice and two days remote each week. During the initial training period the role will require fulltime inoffice attendance for the first few weeks.
