Job Description
We would like to provide our internal workforce the opportunity to express their interest in the role of Operations Contracts Manager.
This role will report to Anthony Burrelland work closely with the Operations Portfolio.
This is a Full Time Permanent opportunity.
Salary Range from $150332.00 super
Location: Albury Leeton or Parramatta
The Role:
Manage the endtoend process of all commercial technical and administrative matters for the regional contracts ensuring optimum performance risk management and contract value is delivered.
Identify commercial risks and opportunities associated with the Contract Program analyse and address them in a timely manner to ensure WaterNSW and its Stakeholders benefit from sound decisions made.
Drive and facilitate the resolution of the Hydro MDBA and Broken Hill Pipeline contract conflicts and manage stakeholder relationships through effective communications negotiations and issue management to ensure stakeholders are engaged throughout the Program/process.
Manage and measure performance against specific obligations for compliance with WaterNSWs policies procedures and contract terms (e.g. adherence to modern slavery diversity targets chain of control accountabilities etc.)
Ensure assets managed by contractors are compliant with relevant statutory requirements and standards asset history is maintained as required and key contractterms satisfied.
Prepare and analyse performance reports and make recommendations of pricing competitiveness and performance.
Manage drive and negotiate project delivery facilities management and rural contracts to drive cost improvement initiatives.
Lead the development review and recommendations of improvements to contract systems processes and policy.
What we are looking for:
Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in contract management and administration.
Knowledge of different construction contract types and implications from a contract administration perspective.
Knowledge of good financial practices and processes.
Experience with Contract Administration and the use of Financial Management contract management/administration and procurement Systems
Current NSW drivers licence.
