The Purpose of Your Role
Our teams build and contribute to Fidelity Investments digital presence. As a developer you will help us build a user experience and the underlying platforms needed to support our digital presence.
Youll craft own build and support features at every stage of the software development lifecycle for a world class web experience. Your ideas will improve our products as well as develop your skills learn new technologies and languages and continue to learn. Were looking for highly motivated individuals who work well in a collaborative iterative mission critical and fastpaced environment.

Are experienced with the tools of the trade including a variety of modern programming languages and frameworks

Stay on top ofAlgorithms Data Structures and Design Patterns and love the challenge of building highly scalable systems that can support thousands of transactions/sec.
Have amindset of test first development and are experienced in modern test frameworks. We believe in testing and that quality is everyones job.
Are datadriven and can measure collect and use data to make decisions. We understand the value of intuition and the need to balance decisions accordingly.
Have strong communication skills and technical expertise to drive and participate in meaningful discussions.

The Skills You Bring
8 years of software development experience
You embrace customerfirst mentality and enjoy developing userfriendly web applications that solve real life problems
Strong experience with Angular 16 RxJS Redux/NgRx and TypeScript
Experience with micro front end architectural patterns.
Expertise with test automation tools and frameworks e.g. Cypress Playwright Jest and Storybook.
Critical problemsolving skills
Passionate opinionated about writing clean testable readable and easily maintainable code with a testfirst development approach
Familiarity with developing features for our web experiences using Angular and Microservices in NodeJS/NestJS/GraphQL.
Working with our product team to ensure we are building the right features based on scope and customer value
Contributing back to the team by developing solutions that help improve developer efficiency or sharing knowledge about new techniques and technologies.

Fidelitys hybrid working model blends the best of both onsite and offsite work experiences. Working onsite is important for our business strategy and our culture. We also value the benefits that working offsite offers associates. Most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite every other week (all business days MF) in a Fidelity office.
