Job Description
Position: Executive Sous Chef Plank Provisions Austin
Salary: $65000 $72000
The Role:
As the Executive Sous Chef youll collaborate with our Executive Chef and General Manager to create memorable guest experiences and a positive kitchen culture. Youll lead BOH operations focusing on quality creativity and operational excellence.

Key Qualities We Value:

- Excellent communicator and problemsolver
Preferred Experience:
- 35 years of culinary management experience in a highvolume setting
- Culinary education preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in seafood preparation including filleting shellfish handling and proper storage.
- Strong knife skills and butchery techniques especially for fish and shellfish.
- Proficiency with tools like Microsoft Office; Compeat Advantage experience is a plus
- Skills in food planning purchasing sanitation and personnel management
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver consistent highquality food preparation meeting safety and sanitation standards
- Manage food and beverage costs through inventory control and waste reduction
- Oversee a team of 10 employees providing clear direction feedback and training
- Coordinate with the Director of Operations on inventory and scheduling
- Maintain a safe welcoming environment for employees and guests alike
