Designation: Product Manager / Senior Product Manager
Location: Pune
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Product Manager with a focus on Digital Lending to join our team. This role requires a strategic thinker with handson experience in product management within the Fintech space particularly around lending products. You will be responsible for driving the development and success of innovative lending solutions improving customer experiences and enhancing operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and execute a clear product strategy and roadmap for the lending vertical aligning with the companys overall vision and business goals.
Market Research & User Insights: Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify customer needs market trends and gaps in lending products. Gather feedback from users stakeholders and partners to drive product innovation.
Lending Products Development: Lead the endtoend lifecycle of lending products including ideation product design development launch and postlaunch improvements. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams like engineering design compliance legal and marketing to ensure seamless product development and execution.
Partner Integration: Work closely with external partners such as LSPs NBFCs and banks to integrate their lending solutions ensuring regulatory compliance and a smooth customer journey.
CustomerCentric Approach: Ensure a seamless and delightful customer experience at every stage of the lending processfrom application to disbursement. Define and enhance the loan application funnel to minimize dropoffs and maximize conversion rates.
DataDriven Decision Making: Use data analytics to monitor product performance measure impact and drive continuous improvements. Leverage insights to make informed decisions about product features pricing models and new opportunities.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on RBI and other financial regulations and ensure that lending products are compliant with all applicable laws and guidelines.
Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback communicate product updates and ensure alignment across teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: 35 years of experience in product management preferably in the fintech or lending domain. Experience working with lending institutions (LSPs NBFCs banks) is a strong plus.
Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of the technical aspects of product development. Ability to work closely with engineering teams to define and implement product requirements.
Lending Expertise: Deep knowledge of loan origination underwriting and disbursement processes in fintech. Familiarity with risk management credit scoring and compliance requirements.
Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data derive actionable insights and apply them to improve products. Experience with product analytics tools like MixPanel Google Analytics etc.
Communication & Leadership: Excellent communication presentation and leadership skills. Ability to influence and collaborate with crossfunctional teams partners and senior leadership.
CustomerCentric: A strong focus on delivering value to customers and enhancing the user experience. Ability to empathize with users and translate their needs into impactful product features.
Adaptability: Thrive in a fastpaced agile environment with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Education: Bachelors degree in business engineering computer science or a relevant experience in the field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven track record of launching successful products in the fintech space.
Familiarity with agile methodologies project management tools (e.g. Jira Confluence) and product lifecycle management.
Experience with regulatory compliance especially within the Indian financial ecosystem
