Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a Restaurant Supervisor for a prestigious luxury wine estate situated in Franschhoek. This opportunity is ideal for an enthusiastic and servicedriven individual with a background in fine dining or upmarket restaurant environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth service delivery
Lead and motivate the frontofhouse team to maintain a high standard of service
Assist in staff training development and performance management
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Maintain excellent customer service standards and handle guest queries and complaints efficiently
Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
Assist with inventory control stock rotation and ordering supplies
Ensure accurate cashups billing and POS system management
Support the Restaurant Manager in operational and administrative tasks
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a similar luxury restaurant or hospitality environment
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent guest relations and problemsolving abilities
Ability to work in a fastpaced highpressure environment
Professional appearance and demeanour
Flexible to work shifts weekends and public holidays
Solid understanding of food and beverage service
Wine knowledge will be advantageous
