Reporting into the Head of Payroll this vital role offers stability and a chance to contribute directly to the financial wellbeing and satisfaction of our valued employees across all TWG brands. Youll play a key role in ensuring service excellence through accurate timely and compliant payroll processing for our store network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process monthly and fortnightly payrolls ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and NZ legislation.
- Take full ownership of payroll for a designated region acting as the key contact for payrollrelated matters in that area.
- Respond to payroll queries from employees and stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate payroll records including prompt processing of hires terminations and changes with a focus on data integrity.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement to enhance payroll efficiency and employee experience.
- Stay updated on payrollrelated legislation to ensure ongoing compliance.
Qualifications :
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in endtoend payroll processing ideally in high volume environment.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience or knowledge of ACC processes.
- Familiarity with PAYE KiwiSaver student loans and other NZ payroll deductions.
- Experience with myIR and tax filing systems.
- Solid understanding of New Zealand employment legislation (e.g. Holidays Act Parental Leave Act).
- Ability to work independently and take ownership while contributing positively as a team player.
- Adaptable proactive and open to change in dynamic environment.
- A continuous learning mindset with a focus on accuracy and system integrity.
- Experience with PayGlobal is a plus but not essential.
