Job Description
Under direct/limited/general supervision
Receives stores issues distributes ships and documents the movement of medical supplies throughout the Hospital. Distributes clean linen to nursing units and other patient care areas collects soiled linen and prepares it for shipment to the outside laundry. Sorts incoming external and interoffice mail and prepares outgoing mail for pickup. Utilizes both manual and computer record keeping systems to document transactions related to these functions in accordance with Hospital policy and regulatory agency guidelines.
Qualifications :
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Materials handling experience desired but willing to train past customer service experience is a plus.
