Job Description

The HR Operations Specialist position is responsible for the Employee lifecycle management at Freshworks. This role is responsible for managing payroll inputs and working with finance team managing the employee database in the central system compensation and benefits tracking auditing onboarding and separation process.
Provide support during internal and external audits related to labour laws and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have excellent skills in HR processes and policies HRMS tools and applications as a user be committed to delivering superior employee experience collaborate with various functions and leaders to accomplish the Goals.

  • Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering calculating and inputting data Update and maintain employee records in the HRMS and verify the accuracy of data in accordance with policy and framework.
  • Keep the data intact by proactively reaching out to stakeholders for corrections in the system.
  • Processing the full and final settlement of exited employees.
  • Manage the time and absence process as per the policy.
  • Answer staff questions about salary deductions attendance insurance etc.
  • Support managers and HR team with clarifications on payroll process and policies.
  • Provide the reports and clarifications to the finance team.
  • Benefit vendors and other internal/external customers.
  • Establish challenging KPIs and adhere to performances by continuous improvement.
  • Experience in HRMS systems handling various modules like Recruitment/ ATS onboarding payroll compensation and benefits Performance management etc.
  • Advanced level experience in ERP like Workday PeopleSoft LMS and time & attendance management tools a strong plus.
  • Ability to handle complex queries/ escalations amicably empathetic towards situations and yet resolve the issues objectively. Always striving to elevate the employee experience.
  • Maintain healthy and cordial professional rapport across functions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to interface and establish rapport with all levels of the organization including the executive team members.
  • A proactive highenergy attitude geared towards achieving continuous improvement.
  • Ability to operate in a fastpaced rapidly evolving and datadriven organization.

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree required with 4 years of experience in global/regional HR Operations covering entire employee life cycle process recruitment onboarding Payroll process Time off leave administration employee engagement training exit and retiral process.
