A leading South African financial services provider is seeking an experienced Actuarial Reporting Specialist to join its Group Finance function
This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a highperforming actuarial team focused on delivering key insights that drive business value through accurate and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support statutory and management reporting processes including SAM IFRS 17 and Embedded Value.
Ensure the integrity accuracy and completeness of actuarial data and models used for financial reporting.
Collaborate closely with finance risk and other actuarial teams to align assumptions and methodologies.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of actuarial models and reporting frameworks.
Provide technical guidance and review of junior actuarial team members work.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Nearly or newly qualified actuary with 46 years of life insurance reporting experience.
Solid technical knowledge of IFRS 17 SAM and embedded value reporting principles.
Experience with Prophet DCS or similar actuarial modeling and reporting tools.
Strong analytical mindset attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
