ABOUT CITIZEN SCHOOLS:

ABOUT THE POSITION:
We are seeking a Community & Corporate Partnership Intern to support our strategic outreach and partnership development efforts. This intern will gain handson experience in nonprofit partnership building community engagement and crosssector collaboration while working closely with Citizen Schools staff.


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Partnership Research & Landscape Analysis Research current and prospective community and corporate partners; assess alignment and opportunities in key regions to support volunteer engagement and program delivery.
  • Targeted Outreach & Engagement Support Assist in developing outreach strategies to reconnect with past partners and engage new ones through events fairs and direct outreach.
  • Learning Network Volunteer Group Engagement Contribute to strategies for improving engagement in our virtual volunteer group by aligning with new partnership opportunities.
  • Volunteer Recruitment Collaboration Collaborate with the volunteer team to support fall volunteer onboarding efforts through newly established partnerships.
  • Analysis & Recommendations Compile findings and develop actionable recommendations to strengthen Citizen Schools partnership network and volunteer engagement pipeline.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Nonprofit Management Public Affairs Education Business Communications or a related field
  • Strong research organizational and communication skills
  • Interest in partnership development outreach and crosssector collaboration
  • Ability to take initiative and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Google Workspace or CRM tools is a plus but not required

COMPENSATION

The Community & Corporate Partnership Intern will be compensated at a rate of $15.00/hour for 15 hours per week from June August 2025.
