Job Description

Our vast array of services educational employment vocational residential habilitative and behavioral health are delivered through a network of national and international affiliates. Job Description:The Lead Residential Caseworkers responsibility is to help each consumer reach a maximum level of selfsufficiency through individualized interventions as well as the support of an overall therapeutic milieu. Interventions are based on service plans developed collaboratively with individual consumers. Recovery Specialists in residential programs are based at program sites where they interact with consumers on a onetoone and group basis. In supportedliving services are provided through facetoface contacts in the home or identified community settings or by telephone.

Schedule: FullTime

Location: Drexel Hill PA

Program: Burmont House Residential Recovery Program

Shifts: Monday through Friday 11:00 am 7:00 pm

Pay Rate:$20/hour

Job Duties:

  • Maintain accurate records of billable services provided and submit records in a timely manner as dictated by the program
  • Report to direct supervisor and other administrative staff as required in a timely and comprehensive manner
  • Supervise directcare staff as assigned by supervisor
  • Complete all personally required trainings as per Professional Development Plan
  • Possess and apply knowledge of all laws regulations contractual requirements and agency policies and procedures governing the services performed
  • Provide services as defined by the program description best practice standards and in full compliance with licensure standards
  • Assist supervisor as needed with collection of outcome data
  • Monitor effectiveness of own service delivery based on outcome measures including Quality of Life Inventory consumer satisfaction surveys and treatment/service reviews
  • As needed make changes to own service delivery to improve outcomes
  • Write internal Incident Reports and submit to supervisor within 24 hours
  • Notify Incident Point Person immediately if incident is reportable in HCSIS
  • Notify supervisor or oncall designee of all incidents in prescribed timeframe
  • Maintain professional relationships with consumers their families payers community support service representatives coworkers and other agencies
  • Participate in interagency meetings and represent the agency in an effective and professional manner
  • Identify and report ways to improve facilities including maintenance safety and supplies issues
  • Identify and report opportunities for recreational activities for consumers
  • Identify and report additional resources
  • Possess and apply knowledge of fiscal policies and procedures
  • Complete required forms in an accurate and timely manner
  • Submit accurate and timely timecards and expense reports
  • Maintain accurate records of billable services provided and submit records in a timely manner as dictated by the program
  • Possess and apply knowledge of Recovery Model principles
  • Provide services based on Recovery Model principles
  • Provide a widerange of recoveryoriented services to consumers
  • Provide services as dictated by client and program needs
  • Develop and implement service plans as per program description
  • Develop and maintain linkages with adjunct providers to coordinate consumer services
  • Identify resources which are accessible and beneficial to clients and encourage their utilization
  • Intervene appropriately in crisis situations
  • Provide instruction and handson support to promote development of skills identified in service plans
  • Support consumers in maintaining healthy relationships and resolving conflicts
  • Function as part of a team
  • Participate in individual and/or peer supervision as well as all program staff meetings
  • Provide backup for other workers in the program
  • Provide 24hour oncall coverage in rotation with other staff
  • Support the program supervisor in overseeing daytoday activities including monitoring of staffing
  • Assist in the orientation of new staff members

Minimum Requirements:

Education/Experience: Associates degree in a behavioral health field and five year of experience in human services related field or equivalent in training and experience

Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance (if working in an adolescent residential program); Criminal clearance and Fingerprint based federal criminal history; Valid Drivers license and verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list

Note: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer additional related experience and/or education may be substituted in lieu of the requirements specified under Education and Experience.
