The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced clinician to join our management team at Kareena Private Hospital as an Orthopaedic Coordinator!
As the Orthopaedic Coordinator of our Theatre and Recovery Unit you will be responsible for working with and supporting the Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical staff in a handson clinical capacity achieving excellence in the delivery of patient care in line with best practice and legislative requirements. This critical role in a small hospital assists in the smooth running of the daytoday operations of the wards as well as support the NUM in providing strategic direction to the unit.
Skills and Experience
- Current APHRA registration
- Minimum of 5 years previous experience as a Registered Nurse
- Experience as a Team Leader/in charge position
- Experience in providing education preceptorship and training to staff
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft essential)
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Progressive & positive can do attitude with lateral problemsolving abilities
- Ability to provide leave relief to the NUM
Remuneration
On offer is salary of $53.56 superannuation exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW Clinical Nurse/Midwifery Specialist).
