Duxbury High School is seeking a dynamic and highly qualified Special Education Teacher with STEM teaching experience particularly in the areas of Algebra Physics and/or Chemistry. or theschool year
Requirements:
Current certification from Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities 512 with SEI Endorsement
Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited college or university
Previous experience with IEP development and data collection
Classroom management skills that support students socialemotional learning
Instruction and classroom management skills that support students access to the general education curriculum content by providing specially designed instruction
Collaboration with general education teachers to provide inclass support to students with disabilities
Collaboration with general education teachers to deliver universally designed instruction to all learnersExperience in the adaptation and modification of curriculum and assessments
Ability to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks
Previous experience managing and leveraging instructional assistants
Citizenship residency or work visa required
Salary based on the currentDuxbury Teachers Contract.
