Kennywood InPark Revenue Director
Roles & Responsibilities:
Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsible for leading a team of six fulltime managers and supervisors and 500 seasonal associates.
Oversee all functions related to the safe and effective operation of the Food & Beverage and Retail departments
Implement strategies to grow revenue per caps and profitability for the inpark spending departments.
Propose process improvements to maximize efficiencies and improve the workflow for revenuegenerating departments.
Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and food safety regulations and procedures; ensure Food Service facilities are clean and operating at maximum efficiency
Work with the maintenance department to ensure equipment and food services facilities are professionally maintained and downtime is minimized.
Create product requisitions and manage inventory
Ensure all Food Services employees are aware of and adhere to all guest service standards and principles
Responsible for maintaining Food & Beverage presentation standards at all Food Service facilities
Responsible for the execution of all food inventory policies and procedures with a focus on controlling costs and managing waste
Ensure continued compliance with local Health Department sanitation guidelines and codes
Provide leadership over the recruitment process; may assist with training seasonal staff as well as manage the departments labor expense
Provide leadership to the seasonal leadership team and frontline team members
Assist in executing seasonal setup and layout of retail locations and ensure that all visual displays are clean presentable in good working order and in proper positioning /composition to drive store sales
Ensure compliance with Child Labor Laws and company policies/procedures
Address customer concerns and provide customer service recovery plans
Facilitate communication operational readiness and overall guest service to the entire facility
Develop and manage departmental labor budgets
Assist with timekeeping for hourly employees as needed
Be an active participant on park teams including the manageronduty program
Monitor department team member voice survey scores and assist in the development of initiatives to address areas of needed improvement
Perform periodic performance evaluations of seasonal staff

Project Management: Understand and manage projects from concept to completion. Develop and achieve strategic objectives plans and time schedules; organize and manage competing priorities while maintaining a steadfast commitment to detail
Executive Presence: Represent the Company well internally and externally; convey a professional and positive image of the organization and business affiliates
Flexibility: Handle multiple priorities simultaneously; maintain a flexible work schedule to meet changing demands for multiple concurrent projects; weekend nights and holiday availability is
Initiative and Adaptability: Take initiative and execute plans to accomplish strategic objectives in a fastpaced evolving environment
Education and Experience:
High School diploma GED or equivalent; Equivalent work experience will also be considered
Bachelors degree in Business Management Hospitality or related discipline; Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
57 years of progressive leadership experience in a multiunit hospitality or operations (or another comparable fastpaced environment) is .
Previous work experience in retail restaurant or food service is highly desired
Previous experience with food codes is essential; Understanding current food and retail trends is also plus.
Previous work experience with merchandising and retail management is a plus.
Must become Food Handler Safety Certified (ServSafe or similar) or become so within 90 days of hire when required by state and local guidelines.
Language: Ability to read write and speak fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with PA Child Labor Laws
Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
Ability to frequently work hours that extend beyond 9 AM to 5 PM during the operating season
Must possess a valid drivers license and a good driving record
Ability to occasionally travel (up to 10%) to food & retail shows/exhibits or other park locations
Indepth knowledge of the Amusement park industry with focus on food service and retail trends
Previous experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems would be helpful
Previous Workday experience would be helpful
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel Word and Power Point.
Ability to handle highpressure situations meet the demands of constant deadlines and coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management organizational communication skills with strong problemsolving ability and aptitude for customer service.
Ability to focus on budgets and cost management
Ability to think creatively while maintaining accordance with business constraints.
Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude in difficult situations
Ability to address multiple tasks and priorities in a fastpaced environment
Excellent customer service skills ability to resolve questions problems issues and concerns
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand walk or sit for long periods of time
Ability to walk long distances throughout the park
Ability to remain seated and use computer for several hours of the workday
Ability to work indoors in an office setting as well as outdoors in a variety of weather conditions especially during peak season operations
Ability to carry push pull lift and hold objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
Ability to occasionally kneel stoop or twist
Occasional bending squatting and reaching above shoulders
Ability to withstand heat and humidity in the various food stands and restaurants
Working Conditions:
Occasional travel to local parks may be
Frequent sedentary motion while sitting and using computer
Frequent interaction with all outdoor and indoor areas of the park particularly food & beverage and retail locations
Exposure to the variable outside and inside temperatures including high heat cold humidity dust rain and other weather conditions
Fastpaced environment with constantly shifting priorities and challenges
Subject to frequent interruptions and may need to reprioritize activities
