Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a dedicated and detailoriented QA Automation Engineer to ensure the quality of our software products through both manual and automated testing. This role is crucial in maintaining high standards of software quality contributing to Synechrons business objectives by identifying and resolving software defects efficiently.
Software Requirements
Required Software Skills:
- Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium and Appium.
- Experience in software testing methodologies and practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is preferred.
Preferred Software Skills:
- Knowledge of additional testing tools and frameworks for enhanced testing capabilities.
Overall Responsibilities
- Design and execute test cases for software applications ensuring thorough coverage of functionalities.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure the delivery of highquality software products.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using various tools to streamline the testing process.
- Analyze and report defects in software applications facilitating timely resolutions.
- Participate in Agile development processes providing feedback on software quality.
- Stay uptodate with the latest testing tools and technologies to enhance testing practices.
Technical Skills (By Category)
Programming Languages:
- Required: Basic knowledge of scripting languages for test automation.
Frameworks and Libraries:
- Essential: Selenium Appium
Development Tools and Methodologies:
- Required: Agile methodologies
Experience Requirements
- 8 years of experience in software testing and automation with a focus on manual and automation testing.
- Domainspecific experience in testing methodologies and tools.

- Participate in daily standup meetings and project planning sessions.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business requirements and design test solutions.
- Write maintain and execute test cases and automated scripts.
- Analyze test results and report defects to relevant stakeholders.
- Engage in decisionmaking processes to enhance software quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in software testing or QA are preferred.
