Job Description:
This person will contribute to the companys success by performing a wide variety of mechanical or electromechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies subassemblies or end products
Essential Functions:
Build devices per drawing routing and work instructions
Assemble small and large components to form subassemblies or completed assemblies using torque drivers long nose pliers screw drivers and soldering irons
Maintains consistent quality and productivity levels
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner and maintain 5S in the area
Crosstrain new and current employees on all assembly lines
Identifies problems and contributes to process improvements
Perform quality checks consistent with the inspection and control plans
Willingness to learn and work in a fastpaced flexible production environment
Works as part of a team and collaborates to accomplish tasks
Ability to work overtime as needed
Able to transport and move up to 25 lbs
Traversing across the production floor for the duration of their shift (up to 12 hours)
Obtain L3Harris provided JSTD001 Certification within first 90 days of employment
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years prior assembly experience 2 year postsecondary/AA Degree and 02 years prior assembly experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
Strong mechanical background
Strong customer focus
Capable of identifying problems and contributing to process improvements through the L3Harris E3 continuous improvement process
Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and Bills of Material (BOM)
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role is $17.75 $29.81. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
