Job Description

Now Hiring: Medical Lead
Location: Portland OR
Schedule: FullTime OnCall Rotation Required


Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of others Do you thrive in supportive teamoriented environments and bring a passion for highquality care Community Access Services (CAS) is seeking a Medical Lead to join our dedicated team supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a personcentered residential setting.

About the Role:
As a Medical Lead youll provide essential support to both staff and individuals served ensuring high standards of health safety and medical care are upheld. Youll collaborate with Program Managers and RN Managers provide oversight in medication administration and serve as a key resource in promoting wellbeing and quality of life for the people we support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with IDD in a group living setting following Individual Support Plans (ISP).
  • Assist with daily living activities including hygiene mobility and personal care.
  • Encourage and support skillbuilding activities to promote independence.
  • Always maintain safety and wellbeing of individuals.
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with individuals served coworkers managers families and external partners.
  • Maintain organized secure and uptodate medication storage and medical supplies.
  • Participate in the mandatory oncall rotation to ensure 24/7 support coverage.
Requirements
  • Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Familiarity with medication administration Therap documentation and ISP implementation a plus.
  • Strong communication organization and leadership skills.
  • Ability to lift and assist individuals with mobility hygiene and ADLs.
  • Must be detailoriented dependable and a team player.
  • Ability to pass a background check as required by agency and licensing standards.
  • Valid drivers license required. Must be able to qualify as an approved agency driver and maintain that eligibility throughout employment.
