In this role you will manage the referees hearing schedule and play a pivotal part in supporting the referee staff with the processing of UC appeals that encompass a range of intricate legal matters. These appeals arise from decisions made by UC Service Centers (UCSC) and remands from the UCBR requiring a keen understanding of the legal landscape. Your duties will include the management of the referees hearing calendar the preparation of hearing notices and the transcription of decisions from digital recordings. Additionally you will transcribe decisions from typed drafts ensuring clarity and precision in every document produced. You will serve as the first point of contact for clients welcoming them and addressing their inquiries through various communication channels.
