COMPLETE JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Title: Legal Assistant
Location: Houston TX 77002
Duration: Full-time
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine office assistant secretarial and clerical duties
- Answer the department phone and route call to the appropriate person or department.
- Answer the phone lines for all attorneys as needed
- Track and log all incoming mail in the department mail
- Manage the calendars of two Attorneys and schedule meetings
- Inventory office supplies to prepare orders for purchase and order office supplies
- Create and maintain spreadsheets
- File correspondence records and other departmental documents
- Handle written and verbal confidential information
- Assist with scheduling special package delivery and courier service pick-ups.
- Respond to special projects frequently under deadline conditions
REQUIREMENTS:
- OneDrive SharePoint or database maintenance (data perspective not IT)
- Can take complex information to organize and create user-friendly forms and training materials
- Can utilize MS Teams Webex and Zoom
- Can utilize both PC and Mac Computers
- Has advanced Excel and Word experience (They should test in 90%)
- Has previous work experience in a professional environment preferably legal or senior management
- Can work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment is organized detailed and a self-starter.
