POSITION: Chief Executive Officer
ORGANIZATION: Harbors Home Health & Hospice
LOCATION: Pacific Northwest Coast Hoquiam WA

Harbors Home Health & Hospice a nonprofit healthcare organization with over 44 years of dedicated service to the communities of Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Executive Officer/Administrator to lead our organization into its next chapter of growth and excellence.

Position Summary:

The CEO/Administrator is responsible for the overall leadership strategic direction performance and operations of Harbors Home Health & Hospice. This role ensures the delivery of highquality care and services compliance with regulatory standards and the successful execution of the organizations mission and vision. The ideal candidate is a strong collaborative leader with a deep understanding of home health and hospice services and a passion for serving the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the organization in alignment with its mission and vision.

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure consistent highquality care and service delivery.

  • Develop implement and monitor policies and procedures in compliance with federal and state regulations.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with patients families referral sources healthcare providers and the broader community.

  • Monitor staff performance ensuring access to training and development to maintain clinical excellence.

  • Serve as the principal advisor to the Board of Directors providing strategic insights and operational updates.

  • Guide policy and procedural decisions in alignment with organizational values and community needs.

  • Foster community partnerships to enhance coordinated patient care and expand the organizations outreach.

  • Represent the organization at public events industry conferences and within professional networks.

  • Oversee the development and management of the annual budget and ensure fiscal responsibility.

  • Support and enhance fundraising efforts and donor relationships.

  • Cultivate and lead a highperforming executive and leadership team.

  • Stay informed on industry trends regulatory changes and best practices in home health and hospice care.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold one of the following:

  • Washington State Physicians License

    • Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) License

    • Bachelors degree in a healthrelated field and at least one (1) year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care or a related healthcare program.

  • Proven leadership experience in home health hospice or related healthcare services.

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams manage budgets and build strategic partnerships.

  • Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills.

  • A commitment to compassionate patientcentered care and community service.
