Job Title: EMEA Regional Payroll Senior Manager

Salary: From 84857 Dependent Upon Experience

Location: Peterborough UK

The Opportunity

We are looking for a payroll professional with a passion for leadership and strategic direction to join our dynamic team as an EMEA Regional Senior Payroll Manager where you will lead payroll teams across the EMEA region to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with all jurisdictional obligations.

In this pivotal role you will provide strategic guidance to streamline and enhance payroll processes driving efficiency and excellence in our operations.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and Oversee:Manage payroll processing for multiple locations ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.

  • Collaborate:Work closely with HR business partners to integrate payroll processes seamlessly.

  • Support:Provide expert guidance on complex payroll issues to prevent disruptions.

  • Develop:Continuously improve payroll policies and procedures for greater efficiency and accuracy.

  • Ensure Compliance:Maintain adherence to all relevant laws and regulations including tax requirements.

  • Manage Performance:Foster the professional growth of team members to achieve their development goals.

What You Will Have

Payroll Management: Knowledge of payroll policy and methods; ability to use tools techniques and processes to manage employee payroll and benefits operations.

Level Expert:

  • Advises management on regulations for calculating pay withholding taxes and benefits deductions.

  • Champions the latest strategies developments and technologies in payroll management.

  • Leads in reengineering the payroll unit of an organization.

  • Analyzes the pros and cons of outsourcing payroll operations.

  • Consults others on managing the complexities of a largescale payroll operation.

  • Leads in implementing best practices used to manage the payroll function.

Leadership: Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting embracing and achieving objectives while having a longterm perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.

Level Extensive Experience:

  • Translates vision into specific functional or departmental initiatives.

  • Uses a normative decision model (with leadership styles and situational variables) to select style.

  • Promotes efficacy through monitoring coaching & motivating subordinates intervention etc.

  • Uses emotional contagion to affect the mood of group members tone of group and group processes.

  • Initiates structure: role clarification setting standards holding subordinates accountable etc.

  • Employs various group decisionmaking methods depending on the situation.

Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.

  • Optimizes time tools and resources to achieve desired results.

  • Manages links among multiple projects and anticipates the impact of the projects outcome on all concerned.

  • Synthesizes pertinent information to plan a course of action.

  • Documents plans with clear objectives action steps accountabilities resource requirements and timelines.

  • Tracks successes in order to establish processes viewed as effective for the entire enterprise.

  • Specifies the underlying assumptions related to designated work.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches tools techniques for recognizing anticipating and resolving organizational operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Top candidates for the role will ideally demonstrate the following.

  • Degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or Human Resources.

  • Progressive Payroll leadership experience in a multilocation or regional capacity.

  • Experience with Workday iiPay or ADP payroll systems.

  • Experience in payroll system implementation streamlining payroll operations and workflow automation.

  • Payroll certification preferred.

Additional Information:

  • The role is based in the office 5 day per week

  • There will be occasional travel with this role.
