Your New Role:

Were looking for a proactive and detaildriven Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance Operations team. In this key role youll be responsible for the review preparation and analysis of profit & loss and balance sheet data supporting endtoend financial processes and contributing to ongoing process improvement initiatives.

• Youll work with stakeholders across QBEs international teamsAustralia Pacific North America and our Global Shared Services Centrenavigating complex systems to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Your daytoday responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and reviewing journals and reconciliations ensuring compliance with control frameworks.

• Conducting monthly GWP (Gross Written Premium) reviews and contributing to TM1 premium claims and commission reporting.

• Using financial systems including Oracle Fusion TM1 and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).

• Investigating and explaining variances in financial results working to tight monthend deadlines.

• Identifying and leading process improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting efficiency.

• Collaborating closely with offshore teams and crossregional finance colleagues across different time zones.

About you:

Youre someone who enjoys getting into the detail and thrives in fastpaced deadlinedriven environments. You bring a curious improvementfocused mindset and are confident working across teams and systems.

Ideally youll bring:

• A recognised accounting qualification (or be newly/nearly qualified) or qualified by experience.

• Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.

• Comfort working with complex finance systems such as Oracle TM1 or HFM.

• A collaborative approach with experience mentoring or supporting junior colleagues.

• Confidence in managing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations with a solid grasp of monthend financial cycles.

• Flexibility and adaptabilityable to work with international teams and embrace change.

• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a bonus but not essential.
