In this role you will join theFinancegroup based inthe Brampton ON office
What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Work alongside Payroll Administrators assisting with all payroll tasks
- Assist payroll administrators with Processing new hires changes (salary inactivations/reactivations) and termination notifications from HRIS system Oracle to time entry system Deltek Vision VantagePoint and ADP payroll system
- Assist payroll administrators preparing premium calculations wellness reimbursements and managing garnishment notices
- Maintenance of time sheet groups in the time entry system
- Correct/adjust employee time sheets when necessary
- Coding and entering/importing periodic pay data into ADP
- Assist payroll administrator with exporting hours from time entry system balancing to payroll report then running hours through our ADP interface so they can be imported into ADP and then verifying to the register to ensure all hours are accounted for
- Responding to employee and HR inquires
- Maintain and assist employees with ADP online pay statement access
- Preparing manual cheques/calculations when required
- Maintaining electronic employee files
- Electronic ROE verification and issuing manuals when required through ROE Web
- Various ad hoc tasks/reports filing
What your experience looks like
- 4 years experience in a payroll environment
- High School Graduation Minimum
- Proficient in Excel and Word and email
- Accurate data entry skills
- Must be detailoriented
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
- Deadline driven
- Organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Discretion and professionalism in handling personal and payrollrelated information isessential
- Team player with a passion for their work
- CPA designation of PCP preferred
- Experience with ADP WorkForceNow preferred
