Your role
As a ColumnistInterviewer assigned to weather you are responsible for creating and presenting weather forecasts in Quebec City across all our platforms (TV radio and digital).
You must be passionate about understanding and explaining weather phenomena. You must be interested in the environment climate and meteorology and be willing to work in a team with your fellow reporters and producers to share ideas and content. Proficient knowledge of the various social media platforms is essential in order to promote your content.
You will be assigned primarily to the supperhour TV newscast Le Tljournal Qubec as well as the local drivehome radio show Cest encore mieux laprsmidi. You may also contribute to other programs and digital platforms.
Excellent command of spoken and written French and a strong oncamera presence are essential criteria for this role.

Qualifications:
University degree or equivalent combined with three (3) years of directly related experience
Skills:
Excellent communicator
Solid experience as a weathercaster
Good knowledge of technology and social media
Superior writing skills and interest in crossplatform media production
Ability to quickly react and respond to breaking stories
An innovator and risk taker
Strong teamwork skills
A commitment to reflecting community and diversity
