Job Description
Grants Pass School District No. 7 is now accepting applications for the following INDISTRCT position for the school year:
GPASS TEACHER High School
(Grants Pass Alternative School Setting)
Salary range: $53339$94166
(Salary based onsalary schedule salary schedule to be determined)
GPASS is located on the Gladiola Campus and serves high school students. Students are placed at GPASS for a variety of reasons on a temporary basis. Students use Edgenuity for the bulk of their GPASS teacher is responsible for ensuring students stay on track with their academics while in the temporary placement.
Job Duties:
- Able to manage students in person and in online course work
- Highly skilled in behavior management
- Utilizes strong deescalation techniques
- Able to build relationships with at risk youth
- Strong skills at multitasking and managing multiple systems to support students getting back on track
A valid Oregon Teaching License with proper endorsement is required
multiple endorsements preferred.
Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish preferred.
