NASC Engineering is searching for an innovative and solutionsoriented engineering project leader to lead initiative of developing and delivering next generation worldclass sortation and transportation systems. This position will have an impact on both design and process design engineering for the NASC.

Were looking to add a handful of highimpact engineers to our team. In this role you will collaborate with internal and external teams to design highquality costeffective solutions for our sortation and distribution systems. Your projects may include greenfields brownfields and retrofits including highly automated fulfillment centers crossdock facilities and transportation centers. Your projects will be a variety of templatebased and designedfromscratch along with ownership of Process Designs end to end complimenting each Design.
You will work with a team of highly skilled and highly engaged engineers in a fastpaced and often ambiguous environment. Our team works on hundreds of projects each year. You will be challenged; you will learn; you will work on high impact high visibility projects; you will grow.
Ability to travel 25% globally to interact with internal and external business and technical leaders.
Key job responsibilities
Lead and coordinate design and innovation efforts to develop optimal solutions for the sortation and transportation network through equipment specification material flow process design site layout and intellectual property considerations.
Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to generate highquality costeffective solutions in very short periods of time.
Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing negotiating and communicating with internal and external business partners contractors and vendors.
Provide technical leadership for largescale engineering projects
Effective communication skills ability to execute the vision detailed roadmap and specific technical solutions to make a compelling business case with senior executives.
Bachelors degree in Engineering (any discipline) Operations or a related field and at least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the specialty.
Experience with automated material handling equipment packaging technologies and systems including robotics and highspeed manufacturing.
Experience with process design based on Lean Principles.
Experience in Capital project management
Experience with concepts like system architecture optimization system dynamics system analysis statistical analysis reliability analysis and decision making.
Experience must involve ownership/management of engineering design projects
Experience using business/technical software like MS Excel MS Project and CAD software
Masters degree in Engineering (any discipline) 25 years Operations or a related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
