National Sales Leader

FullTime Permanent

Reporting to: EVP Chief Retail Officer

The National Sales Leader is responsible for driving sales growth optimizing customer experience and developing highperforming sales teams across the organization. Working closely with executive leadership this role creates and implements strategic sales plans analyzes sales data and ensures the execution of campaigns that drive both store and digital sales. This leader is also dedicated to developing Selling Leaders coaching them on key sales principles and promoting a strong relationshipbased selling culture. Additionally the National Sales Leader evaluates customer experience and continuously drives process improvements to achieve exceptional sales performance and client satisfaction (NPS).

Responsibilities in this role:

Drive Sales Growth

Work with the Executive Leader to develop strategic and tactical sales plans that meet store budgets and customer experience goals.

Create sales strategies for key campaigns and periods using sales data and analytics to inform planning.

Analyze sales performance client data and store metrics to find sales growth and new client acquisition opportunities and execute these sales initiatives through each store.

Share feedback on products customer trends and sales insights with internal teams (Buying Marketing) to boost sales strategies.

Promote and track digital sales nationally to meet digital sales goals.

Achieve Club Harry and client satisfaction (NPS) targets nationally.

Develop Sales Leaders

Set clear metrics for evaluating Selling Leaders effectiveness in coaching their teams to drive sales.

Identify skills gaps and coaching needs of Selling Leaders both from a tactical and people leadership POV and create strategies that will elevate their skills to drive sales through their teams

Partner with Learning & Development to deliver impactful training and development courses to close Selling and Selling Leadership gaps on key sales principles

Ensure Selling teams participate in product knowledge (PK) sessions and relevant training for maximum productivity.

Promote Selling Practices & Principles

Ensure that the principles of our core training programs are consistently translated and applied on the sales floor and coached to by Selling Leaders

Audit stores and practices to ensure our Relationship Based Selling Culture and Clientele development standards are pervasive across the chain

Evaluate the effectiveness of instore sales and aftersale practices and recommend improvements.

Measure the Customer Experience Nationally

Audit all elements of the instore customer experience and identify challenges and opportunities that translate into the meeting of sales and NPS targets

Oversee consistency of established standards and procedures

Develop High Impact Performers (HIPs)

Identify top performers (HIPs) and collaborate with Selling Leaders to create development plans to enhance their sales productivity.

Support lowperforming sellers with targeted development strategies.

Collaborate with Store Leaders to identify and develop successors for key roles.

Analyze trends and implement strategies to grow HIP talent.

Strategic Initiatives

Oversee and support the implementation of sales processes and strategies ensuring smooth execution.

Build relationships and partner with National SMEs to address challenges and integrate their specialized knowledge and best practices into improvements and sales driving initiatives

Leverage SME expertise to enhance store performance and client NPS

Leadership

Lead and inspire selling teams to meet and exceed sales targets.

Foster innovation and a problemsolving environment

Seek out process improvements continually

Drive highperforming teams through SMART goals and accountability

Achieve above Company average employee engagement and NPS outcomes and aim to increase metrics year over year

Foster and demonstrate Core Value principles with all team members.

The successful candidate will bring the following:

  • 8 years of retail leadership experience with leadership capacity in managing leaders on a regional national or international scale
  • A track record of delivering on business goals initiatives and KPIs and conceptualizing and executing comprehensive sales and business strategies in a data driven manner that result in growth conversion and elevation of the customer experience
  • Evidence of having been able to lead teams by example and the ability to inspire ones team creating buyin and commitment at every level; A track record of coaching in an evidencebased effective and personalized manner that has resulted in growth of high impact performers and course correction for developing performers
  • A focus on driving longterm customer loyalty and conversion by training team on elevating both the instore and online customer experience
  • Demonstrated interest and ability to develop others (with a proven track record of documented coaching and development as well as performance improvement plans that have resulted in tangible improvements)
  • Strong business acumen in luxury retail and a keen understanding of how to execute business plans and company initiatives individually and through ones team
