Job Description
Our client is seeking a DirectorQualified Lead Teacher to join their preschool team at State of Illinois Child Development Center. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Lead Teacher to oversee the class and provide enriching learning experiences.
As the Lead Teacher you will be responsible for planning and implementing ageappropriate activities managing classroom dynamics and ensuring a positive and nurturing environment for the children. You will work closely with the assistant teacher to create an engaging safe and structured environment.
Pay: $14.00 $16.00 per hour
Job Type: Fulltime
Location: 160 N LaSalle N201 Chicago Illinois 60601
Schedule: 7:30 AM 4:30 PM / 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the classroom by developing and executing lesson plans.
- Ensure the classroom is safe nurturing and engaging.
- Supervise and mentor the assistant teacher working collaboratively to provide the best care and education.
- Maintain clear communication with parents regarding childrens progress and activities.
- Oversee daily routines and ensure a structured environment for the children.
Requirements:
- Directorqualified with a valid teaching certification.
- Experience in early childhood education specifically with children aged 35 years.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Must be physically able to work on the floor with children and provide a handson learning environment.
