Exploration de comment lexamen des anthropologues de lhistoire des socits quils tudient et de lhistoire de leur propre discipline a considrablement largi la signification conventionnelle de l histoire . valuation de comment lapprciation croissante de la signification de lhistoire a redfini la thorie et la pratique anthropologiques. Les sujets tudis peuvent inclure : lethnohistoire les rgimes dhistoricit et les conceptions du temps historique; lethnographie des archives et des muses la production de faits et de rcits historiques ; les pratiques de commmoration et de mmorialisation du pass; lexprience la mmoire et le tmoignage; et les mouvements contemporains pour la rconciliation historique et la rparation.

Requirements:

Dtenir un doctorat en anthropologie. Possder un dossier qui dmontre une expertise dans le champ de lanthropologie historique atteste par lenseignement de cours identiques ou similaires ou par des publications dans ce champ.
