Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Scrap Yard Manager to join our team in Wada Palghar Maharashtra. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of our scrap yard operations ensuring optimal productivity.
Manage daytoday operations of the scrap yard including scheduling resource allocation and workflow optimization
- Supervise and lead a team of yard workers equipment operators and administrative staff
- Oversee inventory management including receiving sorting and processing of scrap materials
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability
- Manage equipment maintenance and procurement to minimize downtime
- Prepare and manage budgets financial reports and performance metrics
- Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the yard
Qualifications :
- 5 years of experience in scrap yard operations or a related industry
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
- Strong knowledge of scrap metal industry recycling processes and environmental regulations
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and financial management
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to make quick informed decisions
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Experience with heavy equipment operation and maintenance
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Operations Management or related field preferred
- Ability to work in a fastpaced outdoor environment with exposure to various weather conditions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn industryspecific software
