About the role
Working in the central HSW team this role plays a crucial role in cultivating a safe healthy and supportive workplace.
The role will provide professional timely advice and support primarily to ensure continuous improvement in Health Safety & Wellness systems programs and performanceand above all ensure we protect our employees our products and our environment.
This role will act as a trusted advisor to leaders and team members on HSW matters providing guidance and support in the implementation of TWEs Health Safety & Wellness (HSW) and cultural systems and programs
- Demonstrate leadership with site management teams and stakeholders to develop systems site improvements and plans
- Collaborate with site managers to facilitate core processes at site level such as Hazard Management Incident Investigation Injury Management and Contractor Management.
- Manage the service delivery of Site Hazard Improvement Plans and quarterly reporting site inspections and training
- Proactively review and report on historic safety trends and develop an appropriate action plan to mitigate risk
- Manage the investigation analysis and correction of critical WHS events / incidents and prepare relevant company and statutory reports
About you
With proven experience in a similar role with demonstrated knowledge of Health and Safety legislation AS4024 you will have well rounded communication style with an ability to engage and partner with stakeholders.
- Effective planning and management of multiple tasks & deadlines from multiple customers.
- Experience in delivery of HWS programmes and initiatives withing a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of WHS & risk management
- Diploma in WHE/OH&S or equivalent experience
- OFA and RTW training.
- HSR training
