JOB SUMMARY This position supports the Punching Shipping Department. The employee will perform quality inspection of parts prior to shipmentperform preshipment functions basic machine operation warehouse work and inventory work.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect parts thoroughly to ensure quality andprint specifications are met by using measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers
Assembles various piece parts as necessary
Laser mark products
Coatings
Operate basic machines
Operate forklifts
Move product in and out of warehouse by motorized or nonmotorized equipment
Administrative work such as working on the computer or filing
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have ability to lift up to 50 pounds and repetitive lifting
Computer skills including Microsoft Office typing 10 key and internet navigation
SAP experience a plus
Must have high energy be flexible and have ability to take initiative
Experience using calipers micrometers and other measuring devices preferred
Strong attention to detail required
Must have high energy be flexible and have ability to take initiative.
Must be at least 18 years of age
High School Diploma or GED
