THE ROLE
We are recruiting to the role of Housing Partnerships Manager who will lead the Councils management of our two PFI contracts and other external management and engagement arrangements. We are looking for a dynamic leader with experience in managing large scale contracts and building and managing successful relationships with providers with particular expertise in housing.
Newham has two PFI contracts in Canning Town and Forest Gate providing housing services to 2500 households. The Housing Partnerships Manager managing the Housing Partnerships team (of three officers) is responsible for liaison with PFI contractors oversight of expenditure and investment performance monitoring across a range of services including contractual KPIs and Council policy. The Housing Partnerships team also liaise with Newham colleagues from other services to provide a joinedup approach to service delivery including expertise from technical teams.
