About the Roles
Working in line with the CARE model you will strive to enhance the lives of children and young people in our Child Youth & Family programs incorporating a therapeutic trauma informed approach. Guided by the six principles of CARE the Youth Worker provides direct care and mentoring of children and/or young people with a wide range of responsibility for specialised program activities child/young person development and supervision and promotion of a safe environment. At Life Without Barriers we believe that supporting children young people and familiesinvolved with or at risk of being involved withthe child protection system takes passion strength expertise commitment and a relentless desire tohelp them grow learn heal and thrive.
We are currently looking for experienced Casual Youth Workers to work in the Logan and Gold Coast region to support children and young people within our Foster Care Residential and Family Support programs. Experience working with biological families in home or out in the community is desirable.
Suitable candidates will be invited to an upcoming Group assessment Centre. Date time and venue to be confirmed.
