Job Overview
Provide quality food services that support service members and their families with flexible efficient and cost-effective service at the USAG Bavaria dining facilities.Qualifications
- Certification: Have a ServSafe certificate OR be able to complete 4 hours of Basic Food Handlers Training
- A health screening certificate from a doctor
- Language Skills: Able to read understand and speak basic English
- Experience: Customer service experience preferred
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Service diners at a designated flow rate to ensure freshly prepared quality food is always provided
- Serve meals and maintain self-service items ice and beverages during designated meal serving periods
- Ensure self-service items are provided and available to diners
- Follow correct serving size guidelines and use the correct utensils
- Set up and break down serving lines for each meal shift
- Keep serving lines properly replenished and clean during serving periods
- Wash all fresh fruits & vegetables prior to preparation or serving
- Maintain appropriate food temperatures at all times
- Provide sandwich service on request
- Assist with maintaining all sanitation and cleaning standards for the entire restaurant
Please note that this opportunity is limited to individuals located near the place of performance and in Germany preferably associated with the US Military under SOFA status and/or Local Nationals.
