As a Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase at Public Cloud Enablement and Adoption team within Corporate Technology youare an integral part of a team that works to develop highquality architecture solutions for various software applications on modern cloudbased technologies.
You are a visionary technologist with a passion for shaping the future of cloud computing platforms. You will play a pivotal role in shaping influencing and governing our architecture function to support the implementation of our multicloud platform and our OneCloud strategy to enable hybrid multicloud and a consistent developer experience.
Job responsibilities
- Engages technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future needs
- Defines the technical target state of their product and drives achievement of the strategy
- Participates in architecture governance bodies
- Leads and influences the strategic direction of our multicloud platform architecture ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Works with senior leaders to capture requirements and articulate architecture approaches and designs on platform implementation.
- Translates complex technical issues trends and approaches to leadership enabling informed decisionmaking about our multicloud architecture.
- Collaborates across teams to implement and advance the adoption of complex strategic global solutions that enhance our multicloud capabilities.
- Drives the adoption and implementation of cuttingedge technical methods in multicloud environments in line with the latest development methodologies.
- Establishes and lead an data driven architecture governance framework to ensure consistency quality and compliance across multicloud initiatives.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5 years applied experience
- Formal training and certification in cloud computing (Google AWS or Azure).
- Handson experience in delivering system design application development testing and operational stability in multicloud environments.
- Proven ability to create comprehensive cloud architecture designs that meet organizational needs and support future growth.
- Deep knowledge in one or more: public cloud platforms applications/systems architecture and technology architecture.
- Advanced expertise in cloud and systems architecture with substantial indepth knowledge in technical areas such as cloud computing virtualization or automation.
- Experience in applying expertise and new methods to solve complex architecture problems in multicloud environments.
- Experience in cloud platforms and infrastructure transformation
- Experience in architecture governance of design and implementation
- Experience with AI tools LLM assisted and Agentic workflow highly desirable
