Position Objective:
The Summer Adventure/Recreation Team Lead will assist the Adventure Intern in leading the Summer Staff Adventure/Recreation team in providing outstanding customer service on aerial adventure courses climbing walls archery and any other supporting family recreation activities to provide a welcoming environment in a manner consistent with MHAs mission vision and values.
General Qualifications:
The Summer Adventure/Recreation Team Lead is a Ministerial position. Ministerial staff render their work stewardship relationships and behavior as evidence of being followers of Jesus Christ while embracing and affirming Mount Hermon Association Inc.s (MHA) mission vision and beliefs. They are responsible for defining cultivating and leading MHAs Christian community conference programs and retreats.
Key Job Accountabilities:
* Set up maintain clean up and operate aerial adventure courses climbing wall archery and Fieldhouse on a daily basis with the help of other Adventure/Recreation staff.
* Provide instruction to guests regarding safety and operation of adventure and recreation programs to ensure safety and smooth operation of courses.
* Ensure maintenance and inspection of all equipment to ensure safety of staff and guests.
* Perform shift lead responsibilities.
* Help cultivate a positive work environment for team members in accordance with company mission and values.
* Assist the Adventure Intern in organizing and executing team meetings.
* Assists in ensuring adherence to operational protocols and procedures.
* Perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Assist Adventure/Rec Intern in overseeing the Adventure and Recreation Summer Staff team.
