About the Team
Constellation Schools are seeking a highlyqualified School Psychologist in Cleveland Ohio.
The Licensed School Psychologist conducts comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations; consults with school personnel and parents regarding planning implementing and evaluating individual and group interventions; and functions as a member of the buildingbased Student Support Team in providing services to students.
About the Opportunity
- Conduct virtual psychoeducational evaluations for students K through 12 according to federal state and school guidelines
- Familiarity with evaluation tools
- Complete Initial Evaluation and Reevaluations
- Complete Assessment Plans RORs/REEDs and FBAs
- Provide virtual administration of cognitive and achievement assessments following best practice teleassessment standards
- Conduct other portions of the evaluation including interviews and virtual observations adaptive behavior social/emotional behavior and executive functioning assessments
- Integrate assessment results into a comprehensive evaluation report and submit paperwork as needed
- Present evaluation findings at ETR meetings and collaborate with school teams regarding eligibility determination
- Excellent knowledge of principles and evidencebased practices
- Participating in training and meetings as needed
- Attend ETR/RETR meetings to discuss results of assessments
- Maintain case rosters for all school psychologists
- Participate as a member of the MTSS/RTI
- Hold reoccurring meetings with each school psychologist to ensure compliancy
- Plan and hold professional development and training for staff
- Supervise a team of school psychologists
About You
- Masters Degree or Ed.S degree
- Professional Ohio License
- Proficiency with computers and online documentation skills
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and exhibit sound judgment while maintaining that confidentiality
- Demonstrates a reliable dependable and trustworthy work ethic
- Ability to manage difficult or emotional client situations
- Ability to make sound judgments after all available information has been gathered or communicated
- Demonstrates a mature attitude and insight into matters affecting department self and / or company welfare
- Demonstrated leadership and management ability
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure effectively prioritizing and executing tasks to meet deadlines consistently
- Ability to learn new technologies and acquire new skills through independent study professional training and from more senior team members
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a team
- Understanding and ability to manage confidential information
- Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks
