Transport Executive
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Transport Executive to join the team in York. As a Transport Executive you will be responsible for ensuring a robust process is in place for all tasks related to rail journeys maintaining high standards of customer service and managing travel disruptions effectively. Responsibilities
- Confirming arrangements for all journeys within strict deadlines
- Responding to availability issues and finding suitable alternative arrangements
- Proactively managing travel disruption to ensure customers reach their intended destination
- Establishing and maintaining a direct relationship with suppliers
- Communicating effectively with suppliers tour managers and internal departments to ensure highquality delivery of products and services
- Working within the Transport team to ensure tasks are completed within SLA and KPI
- Delivering highquality customer service and maintaining ontime delivery
- Collaborating with other teams to ensure a seamless tour experience for customers
- Responding to customer requests and maintaining a high standard of customer service
- Fulfilling any other duties reasonably expected of the role
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a highvolume fastpaced customerfocused environment
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines with excellent attention to detail
- Strong interest in travel with good geographical knowledge
- Strong team player with clear and concise communication skills
- Excellent written English and numeracy skills
- Methodical and organized approach to work both individually and as part of a team
